…omg… in my life time people will lose the ability to use, identify and lose a pointy stick…
(that is a pencil, not a phone pointy stick thing…. isn’t it?)
I’m wondering when this will become a real problem. Kids don’t seem to know what half the things I used every day when I was young are at first glance.
without a pencil people had to rely on memory, without a calculator we had to calculate, without predictive text / spell checkers we had to spell, without social networking we had to rely on …… ?! “In the olden days did you have ACTUAL friends mom?”
Just read that back – that’s a bit creepy
