Prompts for the Promptless – Ep. 10 – Saudade
I love this.
; ) …pls Direct Message on Twitter a clue about your mouse cartoon – it’s bending my mind!!! : )
Perfect 🙂 I too miss pagers, they didn’t even have ‘read receipts’
What’s a read receipt?
It meant you could pretend you hadn’t received your pager message…… Network errors were very common in those days!
I get it – like being able to see if someone got your email.
Yup, that exactly
I don’t think you can set them up any more, but in the olden days of text messaging (circa 1996) you could ask for a receipt when your text was opened. They changed them to delivery receipts once they opened up texts as a service across different networks & then started charging for them! Bummer
I think you can still get them on emails, and Facebook now do it on posts ‘seen by 3 people’ etc…
On a different note, did you know that 64 is a very special number, it is both a cube number and a square number and also a 6th power number 🙂
And 2 x 3 = 6
No I didn’t, but I do know how to remember 8×8=64…
I ate an I ate and I was sick on the floor!
